If you haven’t heard THE news of the week (okay, well after the election saga news) Shopolat is going digital!
This is super-exciting news for all involved: the people who make it happen, the advertisers, the subscribers and oh yeah, the planet!
If you don’t know what Shopolat is, here is a brief rundown:
If you imagine there are tonnes of amazing online stores out there with gorgeous stuff (everything from party supplies to clothes, nappy supplies, jewellery and toys). Then imagine a clever little lady (let’s call her Kat) had a brainwave one day that she should bring together all these amazing stores and flaunt their cool stuff. Add one clever designer lady (let’s call her Sarah) and hey presto! A very cute, very swanky, colourful little catalogue was published, and sent out totally free to the lucky people on the subscription list. And so the first edition of Shopolat was sent out in February this year, the second in June.
For the Christmas edition Shopolat has just announced the exciting news that it is going digital. It makes sense – ‘what is online should stay online.’ For us shoppers, it means some great things: we will receive it instantly, we can click on the link straight into the store we are looking at, we can forward it to our friends, we get to discover new stores and best of all, we get to shop, shop, shop for Christmas and find some great pressies for everyone.
For the advertisers it means cheaper rates (so more of you have the chance to be involved), more exposure via business in focus, product articles, product inclusions, Treasure Hunts, marketing - just to mention a few things!
So the countdown begins – not until Christmas, but until the Christmas edition of Shopolat Digital!
