Think agoo… think bamboo….

Unfortunately until internet technology becomes a little more touchy-feely you will have to take my word for it: the Agoo bamboo socks and leggings are oh-so-soft and have a more luxurious feel than even the finest cotton with a texture similar to silk.

So what is this bamboo stuff? It is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, absorbs moisture quickly so stops sweat and smells. Bamboo keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. It is hard to find a more durable, fast-drying and soft fabric for delicate little skin.

And if you are a little (or a lot) green, you might know that there are lots of environmental benefits to bamboo. It is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, and once it is cut it will regrow from its roots, so doesn’t need to be replanted. It can survive in drought condition as well as flooding. It also doesn’t require pesticides or chemicals to grow, so there are no lingering nasties when it is produced into clothing.

Oh - and don’t worry – we aren’t stealing the Panda’s food. The bamboo used to produce clothing and other textiles is a different type of tropical grass to the ones Pandas eat.
