Sample garments are one-off pieces created by designers for their showrooms. They are new, sometimes with and sometimes without tags. Samples may be slightly different than the actual garment that is made. Samples often have no wash-care tags so please be aware of this - in this regard I consider them in the second-hand category and not of the new clothing requirements for tagging. You will know it is a sample item, because it has the following logo in the description:

As they are samples, you will be paying a fraction of the price. Sample garments won't have a huge size range - at times 1 or 2 sizes but usually only 1 size for each sample, and often multiple quantities of the one size.

Samples are of the same high quality fabrics the designer intends to use, and often will be an exact replica of the new season garments.
